All the Particles in this planet including our human body
are made of the five elements which are,
Air, Water, Fire, Soil and Space.
It is Believed that our body would get rejevunated
if we visit these Pancha Bootha Sthalas,
which Represents the Five Elements and
Absorb the Resources in the perfect way

CHIDAMBARAM
( SPACE )

The place Chidambaram is actually called as Thillai,
In ancient period it was a Mangrove forest with lot of Thillai trees( Excoecaria agallocha).
The Peculiar Quality of this Tree makes this place represent the Space Element,
that is when the Milk of this Plant gets in contact with eyes will cause temporary blindness.
In Language tamil the meaning of “Illai” Means “No” thus the place got its name Thillai.

While in the state of temporary blindness you can realise that everything is present but you can’t see them,
the same way the space can be realised but cannot be seen.
The Word Chidambaram in one way can be split into Chit + Ambaram
which Means the Ambaram ( The Revealing) Can be visualised only through Consciousness,
when you search with physical eyes it wont be visible.
The Empty Space placed in the Main shrine serves this purpose of “Revealing the Secret” correlated to the Space Element.

THIRUVANNAMALAI
( FIRE )

In Thiruvannamalai the 800m Hill represents the Fire Element because in Prehistoric Period it was an Volcano emitting the Lavas beneath the earth,
These eruptions have created barren volcanic rocks in various hills in Kanchipuram, Vellore, Tiruvannamalai, Villupuram, Dharmapuri, Krishnagiri.

The very famous Karthigai Deepam is lit every year to commemorate this hill as an Extinct Volcano.
The 14 km circumambulation of the hill, known as “Giri Valam” Serves the Purpose of Acquring Fire Element.

Rocks, Bricks and wood in plain areas, Before that there were only rock-cut temples.

A single Mango tree present in the temple yields mangoes of four different tastes this attributes the quality of Soil
The suyambu Linga here is Made of Sand in which the Embracing hand Symbol can be seen, Depicts the Soil Element

TIRUVANAIKAVAL
( WATER )

The Temple is Situated in a Island between Cauvery and Kollidam Rivers.
The Cauvery river is the Major river Flowing in Tamil Nadu forming the Cauvery Delta ( Garden of Southern India )
is the backbone of Agriculture in Tamilnadu.
